Beautiful Mind? Currently coding the Matrix?
If you love a mathematical challenge and can distinguish between scikit-learn, Weka, Tensorflow, R-caret this might be a worthy opportunity.
This ecommerce company is looking to augment their service using a new machine assisted decision engine, driven by algorithms developed in-house. They have made a significant acquisition of a competitor and are now looking to deliver a superior customer platform through machine learning.
This role involves building the algorithms and investigating the data, creating multiple models and statistical methods for reduction and developing the data into other avenues (i.e. Experian etc.)
This is leading the mathematical execution of algorithms getting the whole stack end-to-end and being instrumental in making things happen. You don’t need to have experience of implementation but this role will give you exposure to algorithmic deployment. There’s a lot you can learn in this role but it’s essential you have the following skills:
- Statistics, probability and machine learning at MSc or PHD level
- Knowledge of open source machine learning libraries
- The ability to recognise simple solutions and simplify solutions
If you have experience with coding in Python, relational databases or non-relational databases this would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is a chance to take an instrumental role in the machine learning engineering of a rapidly growing ecommerce business with a unique market position poised for taking considerable market share.
